Tony runs Hastings Half Marathon

Congratulations to Tony Boardman (SASBAH Service Funding Manager) who recently completed the Hastings Half Marathon to raise money for SASBAH. Tony completed the gruelling race in just 2 hours and 3 minutes. If you would like to add to his sponsorship please get in touch with the office.

London to Paris
Jenny Gue will be cycling form London to Paris on 30th July. That's 178 miles in just 3 days! Jenny was Nathan's teaching assistant at School. Nathan has Hydrocephalus and you can read about his families appreciation of Jenny's support on the 'just giving' webpage.

A wonderful night of Opera
Eastbourne AM Rotary Club organised a brilliant opera evening at Eastbourne Town Hall on Saturday March 20th. The artistes were all from major Opera Houses around the world - and featured Christopher Maltman who was a finalist from the Cardiff Singer of the World competition and who regulary sings at The Royal Opera House and The Metropolitan Opera New York. A big thank you to all who supported this fantastic event.

Friendship has inspired a woman to take on the challenge of her first marathon. Victoria Butler is running the Brighton Marathon on April 18 in aid of the Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, SASBAH.The 39-year-old chose to support the charity as her best friend, Paul Cook, suffers from the condition. She said: "I wanted to choose a charity close to my heart and personal to me. "When I was in a bike accident Paul was there for me and kept me going through that time."
